We would rather you never needed a refund than argue about one afterwards — which is why every engine can be run free, on simulation, for a month before you pay anything.
The trial comes first, and it takes no card
Every engine is free for 30 days on simulation. We do not ask for a payment card to start it, and the trial does not turn into a subscription. It simply expires. If you want to continue after it, you go and subscribe deliberately — nothing charges you automatically at the end of a trial, because there is nothing on file to charge.
That is the whole reason the rest of this page can be short.
Subscription charges
The subscription is $199 per month and recurring. It renews automatically each month until you cancel, and you are charged on the same day of each billing cycle.
Charges already taken are final. Because you can run every engine free for a month before paying, we do not refund months that have already been billed.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, for any reason, without explaining yourself.
Cancelling stops the next charge. Your licence stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for — you are not cut off the moment you cancel, and you are not charged again afterwards.
Cancel it yourself, in one click: manage your subscription here. Enter the email you subscribed with, and Stripe sends you a link straight into your billing page — no password to remember and no account to create. Cancel, change your card, or download any invoice from there.
If you would rather a human did it, email [email protected] and we will cancel it the same day and confirm in writing. We will never make you telephone anyone or sit through a retention script.
If the software will not run
Separate from the above: if within 30 days of your first payment the software will not run for you because of a technical fault or a platform incompatibility that we cannot resolve, email us. We will refund that payment.
This is a genuine exception, not a formality — if you paid for something that does not work on your machine, you should not be out of pocket. It does not extend to an engine that runs correctly and loses money, which is trading, not a fault.
Chargebacks
If you are unhappy, email us first. We answer, and it is faster than a dispute.
If a payment is reversed, refunded or charged back, the licence it paid for ends and we will revoke it in NinjaTrader®’s vendor system.
Price changes
If we ever change the subscription price, existing subscribers are told by email before it takes effect, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
