What we collect,
and what we don't.

Short version: there are no accounts, no tracking, and nothing to sell. This page exists to say exactly what happens to the handful of details you do give us.

Who we are

Orthant Systematic Trading is a trading name of Buddhadeb Basu, a sole proprietor in Wesley Chapel, Florida, United States. Throughout these pages, “we”, “us” and “Orthant” mean that one person. There is no company, no team and no office.

You can reach a human at [email protected] or +1 813-357-9190.

What we collect

Three things, and only when you do something that requires them.

  • If you request a trial. Your name, email address and country of residence. The form on our site does not send anything to a server — it opens your own email program with a message written out. You press send, and it arrives in our inbox like any other email. If you never press send, we never receive it.
  • If you subscribe. Stripe collects your payment details, your email address, your NinjaTrader® account email and your NinjaTrader® username. We never see or hold your card number — Stripe processes the payment and we see only the last four digits and the outcome.
  • To issue your licence. Your NinjaTrader® account email, which we enter into NinjaTrader’s vendor system so the software will run for you.

That is the entire list. There is no account to create, no password to store, and no profile built about you.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry, to issue and renew your licence, to take payment, and to keep records of who is entitled to what. Nothing else.

Who it is shared with

Four service providers, each for one purpose:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe’s privacy policy.
  • NinjaTrader® — licence issuance against your platform account.
  • Cloudflare — website hosting and traffic analytics. Their policy.
  • Zoho Mail — our email, which is where your message lands.

What we never do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not run advertising or marketing trackers, we are not in any ad network, and we do not build profiles of visitors. If that ever changes, it will be because we have changed this page first and told existing customers.

Cookies, analytics and Do Not Track

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without fingerprinting visitors. Cloudflare’s network may set its own security cookies to tell humans from bots; those are not ours and are not used to identify you.

Do Not Track. We do not track visitors across other websites, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to switch off. We do not respond to those signals because we are not doing the thing they are designed to stop.

Third parties. No third party collects personally identifiable information about your activity across other sites through our website.

How long we keep it

Emails stay in our inbox unless you ask us to delete them. Payment and subscription records are kept by Stripe for as long as its own terms and tax rules require. Licence records live in NinjaTrader’s vendor system for as long as your licence exists.

Seeing or changing your details

Email [email protected] and ask. Because there is no account system, this is a person reading your message and doing it by hand — which also means we can only act on what we hold, not on records that belong to Stripe or NinjaTrader®. We will tell you plainly if something is not ours to change.

Children

This is a product for adults trading futures. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Visitors in the EEA and the UK

We are based in the United States and your information is processed there. We do not target the EEA or the UK, but if you are there and contact us or subscribe: we process your details to perform our contract with you (your licence and payment) and, for an enquiry, on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering you. You may ask us for a copy of what we hold, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to our use of it, by emailing us. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

Changes to this page

If we change anything material we will update the effective date at the top and, where the change affects existing customers, email them. We do not make changes quietly.
